Improvement Idea Collection Procedure
To ensure continual improvement every organization should have an improvement idea-collection procedure. Below is the improvement idea-collection procedure.
1.0 Purpose
Develop current
process, procedure, routine with the contribution of all levels of employees.
2.0 Scope
This process applies to
all the department and sections of an organization.
3.0 Responsibility
IE team will collect
data, review ideas, justify, analyze, and implement the idea where appropriate.
4.0 Process
4.1 All the employees of the organization are free to give the idea.
4.2 Idea-collection box should be available and placed in some visible areas, anybody can drop written idea here or should have an idea-collection team and everybody know them.
4.3 Instead of this anybody
can give idea written or verbally to any IE people.
4.4 IE people will keep
the record for received ideas.
4.5 An IE officer/Executive will open
the Idea collection box and idea collection record every month.
4.6 IE team will Summarize collected ideas
and justify usability.
4.7 If applicable it will be implemented discussing with
production, QA, and IE head along with idea provider with record keeping.
4.8 QMS responsible will monitor the whole process.
